What it means to live a "full" life ...
It's been over ten years since I found myself thinking about a book I wanted to write. In fact, I began to write it and expected to complete it soon after first putting up this website. Clearly, the Universe had other ideas and I had more lessons coming my way.
Perhaps I no longer feel as sure about whether I'm the person to write the book. Or, perhaps I wonder whether the world even needs another self-help book. While I still want to share some of the thoughts and ideas, my passion to write a book has cooled.
I am going to downsize the message and be of service with a blog-style communication rather than a book. Whether you have found this website before or are here for the first time, you probably stopped because you are a person who can be described as a "searcher ..." someone looking for a better understanding of yourself and of your purpose in life. I avoid the term "the meaning of life." I find it a trick question.
We are all travelers through this life and few of us are here for a "vacation." If we are fortunate, we will have the chance to live a "full life," with all of the human experiences. That means knowing the joys of love and success, but also the sorrows of loss and failure. One of the surest ways to learn how to trust your own instincts is to have been betrayed by another. The key to using the lessons learned by these experiences is knowing how to embrace gratitude and forgiveness ... graces more powerful than love.
These are the topics on which I want to elaborate. It may take me a while to get up to speed, but I will begin to post my writings on these ideas and others. I will also set up a vehicle for you to contact me and share your thoughts and ideas. So, be patient. I will be doing a lot of traveling during the next few months. Hopefully, it will give me time to stay in touch with you. LindaB
